Technology in New Boston has advanced by leaps and bounds since the plague. New inventions and improvements upon the old are introduced every day. Public transportation has been modernized and computerized. The cyber net has been connected to England, Japan and Israel. People carry CIC cards rather than a wallet full of ID, credit cards and ATMs.

Technology outside the city wall of New Boston hasn’t changed much from what you see and use every day. Old cars, clunky computer monitors, microwaves and plasma TVs are as high-end as it gets. Those in the parts of Old Boston and the Badlands who don’t have electricity make do with generators and car batteries to turn on the lights at night - though some are forced to simply use candles and torches.
